Galaxy Diorama was born from a deep passion for the universe of Star Wars.
From the very beginning, our mission has been clear: to create highly detailed dioramas and ready-to-print STL files designed for collectors and action figure enthusiasts around the world.
For years, our work focused primarily on 1:12 scale figures from the Black Series and 1:18 scale figures from The Vintage Collection by Hasbro. Through dedication, long hours of design, 3D modeling, and photography, we built a strong international Instagram community that shares our love for Star Wars dioramas.
But creativity evolves. And so did we.
After years of working with 1:12 and 1:18 scales, we felt the need to explore something bigger literally and creatively.
That’s when we began designing 1:6 scale dioramas and STL files tailored for collectors of Hot Toys and Sideshow Collectibles figures.
At the same time, we started collecting sixth scale figures ourselves.
Working in 1:6 scale is a completely different experience. The craftsmanship found in high-end sixth scale collectibles is extraordinary:
Hyper-realistic head sculpts
Hand-tailored miniature costumes
Screen-accurate accessories
Impressive articulation and presence
Holding a sixth scale Star Wars figure feels like having the character or even the actor right in front of you.
And when we place these figures inside our custom dioramas and photograph them, the results often look like cinematic frames taken straight from a Star Wars film.
Throughout 2025, we immersed ourselves deeply in the 1:6 world. During that journey, we discovered incredibly talented artists creating custom sixth scale figures inspired by Star Wars unique, handcrafted pieces far beyond mass production.
That discovery changed everything.
A Star Wars 1:6 custom figure is a highly detailed, articulated sixth scale collectible created or modified by hand.
The 1:6 scale means the figure is one-sixth the size of the real subject. For example, a character who would stand 180 cm (6 feet) tall in real life becomes a figure approximately 30 cm (12 inches) tall.
This larger scale allows for exceptional detail and realism — which is why it became globally popular thanks to companies like Hot Toys.
The word “custom” means the figure is not simply purchased as-is. Instead, it is:
Built from separate components
Modified from an existing base body
Hand-painted
Outfitted with custom-tailored clothing
Equipped with 3D-designed or handcrafted accessories
Each custom 1:6 figure is unique. It is not just a toy it is a collectible art piece created for passionate fans and serious collectors.
At the beginning of 2026, curiosity turned into action.
Our first Star Wars 1:6 custom figure project was dedicated to George Lucas the visionary creator of Star Wars.
We documented the entire journey on our blog, sharing behind-the-scenes insights into sculpting, design decisions, accessory development, and final photography.
After completing the first prototype, we presented it to our Instagram community. The response was overwhelmingly positive, along with valuable constructive feedback that helped us refine proportions, facial details, and finishing touches.
We are now finalizing the improved version, aiming to complete the definitive edition by the end of March.
Seeing the finished 1:6 custom figure gave us a feeling we had not experienced in a long time pure creative fulfillment.

This project reignited something powerful within our team.
And it naturally led to one question:
Who will be next?
For our second Star Wars 1:6 custom figure, we wanted to move directly into the heart of the saga itself.
While our tribute line dedicated to the creators of Star Wars will continue as a celebration of the artists who shaped our imagination this time we felt drawn toward a character from within the narrative universe.
We considered iconic heroes.
We explored lesser-known figures.
We examined both official canon and the Legends expanded universe.
We were searching for a presence that felt powerful, mysterious, and deeply connected to the darker side of the Force.
A character whispered about in legend.
A Sith Lord whose story influenced the fate of the galaxy.
